Equilibrium

Equilibrium came from the words "equus"(equal); and "libra" (balance).
Well, as what I have learned in this new lesson, A + B -> C is a forward reaction and if you reversed them the reversed reaction would be: C <- A + B. In the equation of equilibrium constant ( Keq = (C) / (A)(B) ): if Keq > 1 the concentration of the product is greater than the reaction of the reactant;
if Keq < 1 the concentration of the product is less than the reaction of the reactant; and
if Keq = 1 the concentration of the product and the concentration of the reactant are equal.
